A PRAYER ANSWERED!

So I have been pretty stressed out about some things, alot of yall know that. Well the MAIN thing had been Kearstyn being in and at a different program than where I was. Don't get me wrong Dawson is awesome, but rushing to drop her off and get to my school and then rushing to get her when I get off before six was stressful! Well NOT ANYMORE! Goddard had an opening in the 3 class so now Kearstyn will be joining the school! Its such a blessing in so many ways, but the main ones would be financially and convenience. So starting Sept 8, Kearstyn will be a Goddard student! Im so excited for her because the school is so great and I already know her teachers and she will do so well there! I had to share this because I was so thrilled when I found out today at work. God is SO GOOD!
Have a great night!

I'm Letting Go, by Tammy Trent

I just heard this song as I was doing things around my apartment and wanted to share these lyrics! For me this hit home.....WOW is all I can say...I would encourage you to download the song and listen to it!
Have a GREAT and BLESSED day!
I'm Letting Go
I'm laying down my burdensI'm laying down my pain. Every care and worry that is written in this faceI'm letting go, I'm letting go. I'm laying down rebellion, I'm laying down my pride, All the broken promises within this broken life. I'm letting go, I'm letting go, Holding nothing back from You Ready to do all the things You call me toHoly hands are reaching up to You I surrender, I surrender. I'm letting go. I'm pulling down the image, The idols I let stand I'm holding to the hope that's sure They're resting in Your hands I'm letting go, I'm letting go I'm bowing in Your presence Poured out before Your throne To be a living sacrifice and follow You alone I'm letting go, I'm letting go Holding nothing back from You Ready to do all the things You call me to Holy hands are reaching up to You I surrender, here I stand I surrender, all I am I surrender, my heart singsI surrender Holding nothing back from You Ready to do all the things You call me to Holy hands are reaching up to You I surrender, I surrender I'm letting go I'm letting go

Here are some pictures.....Kearstyn absolutely LOVES the water! My mom also put fake nails on Kearstyn and Madison.

A Blast from the Past- My Best Friends Wedding!

So since I have been uplaoded my other best friends weddings, I needed to upload Britney and Daves as well =) This wedding was soo incredibly sweet and perfect! Britney and I have been friends for over 14 years now and have been thru EVERYTHING together! She and I have truly been the best of friends all 14 years! When I found out she was engaged we went right into wedding mode! I helped her with all the details and was her " honorary maid of honor" because her sister lived in Atlanta and couldnt be here to help, so I stepped in and helped her out with that!! I was so honored to be a part of their day, I love you Brit!!!!!!!!!(oh and dave too haha) And sweet little miss Lillian Love!!

Quote of the Day!

So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. Eventually feels a lot better than actually- Meredith off Greys Anatomy

This is SO true!

Have a great day!

Its a NEW beginning!

So I have been SUPER busy starting my new job and transitions in my life. I am super blessed to have such an amazing support system in my life. I also need to thank God for giving me peace, understanding, assurance, and strength. I feel like my life these days have been full of ups and downs, but I realized that when the down times came, I wasnt connected with the Lord and TRUSTING in HIM completely.
One thing that I have learned(maybe even the hard way, or just my way) is:
Give everything to God....Trust in HIS timing, sometimes we rush to do what WE want and we dont wait for God to do HIS will for us! Im learning to just TRUST and RELAX and wait patiently for God's promises.
That is alot easier said than done....But I know I can do it! With God we can do anything!

So my job is so much fun so far. I am teaching 2year olds and they are going thru alot of stages, haha. But I am proud to say that after only a few days I have learned ALL of their names and pretty much got the routine down. Its a learning process, but I absolutely LOVE it. My calling is definitely working with and teaching children. We have a teacher work day coming up and that will entail sarah and I completely sanatizing our room. Re-decorating the walls, doing lesson plans, etc! Its going to be a really hectic and busy day but I am ready to get our room up to Goddard Standards! We have a lot of cute things we are going to do, so let the challenge begin! So that's it for now, I will update my devotions tomorrow. I have atleast 4to post.
Have a great night!

Sweet Little Kearstyn

Since it is called, Ashley AND Kearstyn's Korner, I decided to let yall know what she has been up to! Just recently she celebrated her 3rd birthday at the Jump Zone.....She had a BLAST and I think everyone else did too! She is in preschool at Dawson ELC. I absolutely LOVE her teacher and the program. Her teacher told the parents that by the end of the school year our children will be able to WRITE their own name and know some sign language. Kearstyn is definitely showing me the sign language that she has learned so far! She is such a different little girl from even 2months ago. She LOVES attention and pretty much has to be the center of attention at all times haha....If you arent looking at her she pulls your face to hers and says "look at me." She is obssessed with Hannah Montana now. I guess its a step up from Dora! She sings and dances to the theme song when it comes on. She also loves to sing in the car with mommy! She knows just about every Taylor Swift song because I play the cd constantly in the car.

She is a very very smart little girl. She blows me away with the new things she does daily. She acts and talks as if she is 8 or 9. She is stubborn and very strong willed(we are working hard on that one.) She HATES to have her hair brushed, its like a wrestling match when she gets out of the bath to brush her hair. But once it's done she loves to look at herself and say she has "princess hair." Its so much fun to see her grow up and become more mature and older. It's happening very fast and I am cherishing every moment I can of the younger years. She is my world. When I am having a bad day, just sitting watching tv with her or playing with her makes everything better! She has been such a big impact in my life and maybe one day when she gets older I can tell her how she helped mommy get thru all the hard times! Kearstyn Hailee, such a sweet precious little girl!! I love you!
