Anxious Bride

So everyone has been asking me how  are the wedding plans going, am I nervous, etc.  Of course my answer is it's going great and im not nervous. So the truth is, im not really nervous, just anxious.  I keep going over everything in my head wondering if I have done everything, gotten everything, is everything going to be how I picture it in my head.  But I know that when the day comes it will be PERFECT! I just cant worry about it and let it just be how it will be.  Im so thankful for my mom, all of my friends, bridesmaids and soon to be mother- in- law for all of their support and helping me with everything and going with me to get the last minute stuff, getting the slideshow together and doing  the programs.  I feel like there are a MILLION things left to do and there really arent.  Now the fun part begins Im getting my bridal portraits done, having my bridal shower and going out for my lingerie/bachelorette night and then IM GETTING MARRIED =)   The last thing I have to get are the favors for the guests, which I will be ordering tomorrow.  I have a AWESOME wedding director , Nikki Runnels, who I know will have that day going smoothly.  Okay so that is all for now, im sure I will post again before the wedding........16DAYS away!!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

This has been a wonderful Mothers Day!  This morning Jeremy and Kearstyn surprised me with a great breakfast, balloon, cake, a dozen roses, coffee and a card from both of them! Kearstyn was so excited to tell me Happy Mothers Day, she was so sweet!! Jeremy did a great job helping her make this the best Mothers Day yet! They are my world and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. After breakfast we got ready for church then went and ate a Kobe.  After lunch we came back and all took naps. I am so blessed with an amazing daughter and fiance'.   I hope everyone had a GREAT Mother's Day!

A-Day 2010

Jeremy and I got to go down to t-town to experience A-Day.  I have never been to A-day so it was a lot of fun.  It was EXTREMELY hot that day!! I had just had oral surgery the day before so I wasnt able to really smile that well and my face was still swollen, but i didnt want to miss out on going down and having fun!  We went to the Walk of Fame where we saw all the captains put their handprints and shoe print in front of Denny Chimes.  We also got to see and hear Nick Saban speak about the upcoming season and about the Championship.

It was so packed we almost couldnt find a place to sit once we got into the stadium.  Im excited to be able to go down in the fall to the football games!  ROLL TIDE~

Honeymoon= Las Vegas

We finally decided on where we are going for our Honeymoon last thursday.  We were going to go to a beach somewhere, but we couldnt really decide where we wanted to go, and for the cost that we wanted.  So my sweet dad used his hotel points and flyer miles to book us our Honeymoon.  We are leaving May 30th coming back June 4th.

We will be staying at Paris Hotel which is near everything,
I have never been to Las Vegas and neither has Jeremy, so we are really excited about getting away for a week and celebrate being married!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

On March 26th, we went out for my Dads 50TH Birthday! My mom went to alot of trouble getting this planned and Zona Rosa decorated!  We had a BLAST and my dad loved it!  Here are some pictures

My Wedding Checklist is getting smaller

So I am so excited that I have checked many things off my list!  We only have 48more days until we become Husband and Wife and I am so ready for it to get here!

Britney and I, one weekend, did nothing but meet with vendors all day! It was so much fun to spend the day with my MOH and do wedding stuff =)

So I got my invitations mailed out at the end of March, and I think everyone has gotten it now! So thats checked off.

I went one day on my lunch break  to get my Wedding Dress altered with Nikki(one of my bridesmaids) and met Allison and Britney there as well who are bridesmaids.  Thankfully, not much had to be done to it, just a bustle and some snaps had to be fixed, but that was it.  So that is done.  I get it back Tuesday.

I booked our florist and caterer! Our Florist is Artistic Concepts and our caterer is Gourmet Pantry.  Im so excited about these vendors!  So that is done as well!

Tiffany's mom is making our wedding cake for us! Im so excited about it! Tiff is one of my great friends and also a bridesmaid!
Wedding Bands have been the hardest part believe it or not.  His was pretty simple, he picked one out got fitted and I purchased it.  Mine, however, was not that easy.  I went to EVERY jewelry store in Birmingham and could not find a band that matched, let alone wasnt a fortune to have made!  BUT just after I was ready to give up and buy just a random band, we went to Zales and found one that works PERFECTLY!  It has a slight curve and matches the design of my band on my engagement ring.  So thankfully, that part is done!

Bridesmaids Gifts are being made for me by my sweet friend that teaches with me.  Im so excited about these and cant wait to give them to the girls.

Now all that is left is getting the program together and meeting with Britney to pick out ceremony music!

We are also getting our Engagement Pictures taken tomorrow by Chase and Allison Williamson, which Allison is a Bridesmaid.
Im also having my Bridal Portraits done May 15th by our photographer, Brittany Lammon, who is also an honorary bridesmaid.
